Position Overview
LIRR is seeking enthusiastic and responsible Field Operations Staff to support the smooth delivery of our elite youth soccer programming. This role is ideal for college students or young professionals looking to gain hands-on experience in sports
management and operations while working in a fun, fast-paced environment. Operations Staff play a vital role in creating a safe, organized, and welcoming experience for players, families, and visiting teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of fields before and after practices, games, and events.
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of playing areas and facilities.
• Coordinate field assignments and schedules to ensure smooth operations.
• Support coaches, referees, and volunteers during training sessions and matches.
• Monitor and maintain equipment, reporting any issues promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service to players, parents, and spectators.
• Support special events, tournaments, and clinics as needed.

Qualifications & Experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Experience in sports or recreational activities is a plus.
• Evening and weekend availability during the soccer season.
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with physical tasks such as carrying equipment and setting up fields.
