About the Role
The Broadcast vMix Specialist Intern will play a key role in delivering high-quality live match broadcasts. This position focuses on operating and managing the vMix production system, supporting all aspects of matchday streaming from setup through execution.
This is a technical, high-responsibility role suited for individuals pursuing careers in broadcast production, live event operations, or sports media.
What You Will Do
· Operate the vMix live production system during matchdays
· Manage camera inputs, audio feeds, and live stream outputs
· Execute live switching between camera angles
· Integrate graphics, scoreboards, overlays, and sponsor assets into the broadcast
· Support instant replay and in-game highlight functionality
· Coordinate with camera operators, commentators, and production staff
· Lead or assist with pre-match setup, testing, and post-match breakdown
· Troubleshoot technical issues in a live broadcast environment
Qualifications
· Strong interest in broadcast production, sports media, or video engineering
· Experience with vMix strong preferred
· Basic understanding of video/audio workflows and signal flow
· High attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure
· Strong communication and teamwork skills
· Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
· Availability for evening and weekend matchdays
Internship Details
· Type: Credit-Based Internship (Unpaid). Eligible for academic credit through your college or university (student responsibility to coordinate approval).
· Duration: Approximately 3–4 months during the summer season
· Location: Long Island, NY
· Schedule: Matchdays and required setup/testing sessions
