Position Title: Intern Social Media Manager
Organization: Little Rock Rangers (USL League Two / WPSL)

Position Description
As the Social Media Manager Intern for the Little Rock Rangers, you will play a key role in shaping and sharing the voice of the club across all digital platforms. You will help engage our fanbase, highlight our players and staff, and bring the club’s culture to life through creative, story-driven content. This role is ideal for an aspiring social media professional passionate about soccer, storytelling, and digital engagement. The intern will assist in creating and executing social media strategies that grow the club’s presence, enhance fan connection, and support community engagement initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities
• Develop and publish engaging content across the club’s social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, X,
TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn).
• Capture and produce behind-the-scenes content during training sessions, matchdays, and community events.
• Monitor fan engagement and interact with followers in a professional and authentic manner.
• Collaborate with coaching and operations staff to promote key moments, match results, player highlights,
and announcements.
• Assist with live matchday coverage and post-game content (photos, videos, score updates, interviews, etc.).
• Stay current on social media trends, soccer culture, and platform best practices to keep the Rangers’ content
fresh and relevant.
• Analyze engagement metrics and provide basic reports to assess performance and inform future content
decisions.
Qualifications
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Marketing, Media, Sport
Management, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and storytelling techniques.
• Basic experience with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for soccer and an understanding of the sport’s community and culture.
• Ability to attend home matchdays (evenings/weekends, 6-8 per season) and occasional team/community
events.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced
environment.
