Job Description

This position will focus on initiatives that drive new revenue growth, primarily through partnerships and sponsorships.

This is a paid internship through PA Career Link (if qualified applicant) or an unpaid position in exchange for college credit. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify new prospective club partners for the youth program and women’s teams
  • Assist the club’s strategic Directors in acquiring sponsors/partners.
    • Schedule meetings and partake in them as needed
  • Develop and implement additional fundraising opportunities for the club
  • Lead and/or assist in additional fundraising opportunities
  • Acquire giveaways and door prizes for game days and team events from local, regional and national organizations
  • Coordinate post-game meals (as needed)
  • Work with the Activities Coordinator to plan and acquire sponsorship for game-day activities. 
  • Attend home games and assist where needed (most likely in ticket and merchandise sales).
  • Work with the leadership team to ensure club deliverables/benefits are met for all sponsors
  • Maintain and continuously update prospect lists.
  • Stay informed of industry trends across professional sports and make suggestions where appropriate for new revenue generating opportunities.
  • Other duties/responsibilities as assigned.



  • Ability to pass comprehensive background check. Attend and pass SafeSport training.
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with team members, executives, and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently in a multi-faceted and deadline-driven environment.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to reach out to individuals and organizations for sponsorships and donations under the leadership team’s direction.
  • Interest in women empowerment through sports, especially soccer, is also desired.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.

About Lancaster Inferno

Founded in 2008, Lancaster Inferno fields a women's pre-professional soccer team that competes in the USL W League. The First Team roster is composed of players who want to pursue their professional aspirations and features current/post college players and former professionals.

Headquartered in Pod 2 on the Campus of Rock Lititz (Lititz, PA), the Inferno is committed to providing a complete pathway from youth to pre-professional soccer. In addition to the pre-professional team, Inferno fields U20/U23 women’s teams during the summer months, and youth travel teams from the U9-U19 age groups year-round (Lancaster Inferno FC). Lancaster Inferno FC is the only all-girls travel soccer club in Pennsylvania that provides a player pathway from youth to pre-professional.
