Hartford Athletic W League and Hartford Athletic are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Account Executive, Partnerships & Integrated Ticket Sales to generate revenue, build long-term corporate relationships, and grow community engagement. 

This role is responsible for selling and activating corporate partnerships, sponsorships, branding assets, and a full portfolio of ticket offerings while delivering a fan-friendly buying and matchday experience. The position plays a critical role in driving attendance, visibility, and brand alignment for professional soccer in Connecticut. 

Core Responsibilities :
Corporate Partnerships & Sponsorship Sales 

  •  Prospect, pitch, negotiate, and close new corporate partnership and sponsorship agreements.
  •  Sell integrated assets including jersey placements, matchday presenting sponsorships, in-stadium branding, digital/social media inventory, community programs, youth clinics, and B2B offerings.
  •  Develop innovative and customized partnership packages aligned with client marketing objectives. 
  • Collaborate with marketing, ticketing, and game-day operations teams to execute activations and ensure seamless fulfillment.
  •  Manage contract negotiations, activation rights, pricing, and deliverables.
  •  Track partnership activity in CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and provide ROI reporting to partners.
  •  Maintain and grow existing accounts to drive renewals and upsell opportunities.

Ticket Sales & Revenue Generation

  •  Actively sell Season Ticket Memberships, Flex Plans, Group Packages, VIP Suites, Business Alliance Memberships, and corporate hospitality experiences.
  •  Drive group ticket sales through youth soccer clubs, schools, nonprofits, women’s organizations, and local businesses.
  • Develop themed nights, recognition moments, and tailored ticket packages to enhance fan engagement.
  •  Build and maintain a robust prospect database through cold calls, networking events, inbound leads, referrals, and social selling.
  • Achieve and exceed individual sales and prospecting goals.

Community & Women’s Soccer Engagement

  • Serve as a liaison to girls youth clubs, women’s organizations, and community groups across Connecticut.
  •  Support and expand programming that promotes girls’ participation and leadership in soccer.
  • Represent Hartford Athletic at networking events, community initiatives, and foundation events.
  •  Support community initiatives and outreach efforts to strengthen the club’s presence in Greater Hartford.

Matchday & Event Responsibilities

  •  Attend all home matches and ticketed stadium events as a key member of the Front Office team.
  •  Assist with sponsor hospitality, group experiences, and in-game recognition moments.
  •  Ensure exceptional sponsor and fan experiences during matchdays and events.

Qualifications

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.
  •  2+ years of experience in sponsorship sales, partnership sales, ticket sales, or related fields (sports, media, or entertainment preferred).
  •  Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  •  Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  •  Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot preferred) and ticketing platforms (SeatGeek preferred).
  •  Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
  •  Creative thinker with the ability to develop strategic and customized sales solutions.
  •  Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for games and events.
  •  Conversational and written Spanish proficiency preferred but not required
