**Job Title: Game Day Photographer**

 **Position Overview**

The Game Day Photographer is responsible for visually capturing the energy, emotion, and key moments of match day. This role plays a vital part in shaping the club’s brand by delivering high-quality, dynamic imagery that brings the game experience to life for fans, partners, and media across digital and promotional platforms.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Live Match Coverage**

* Capture high-quality action shots during matches, including goals, key plays, and player celebrations
* Anticipate and document pivotal moments in real time
* Maintain awareness of match flow to ensure critical plays are never missed

**Storytelling & Content Creation**

* Photograph the full match day experience: pre-game warmups, locker room (if permitted), fan interactions, in-game action, and post-game moments
* Capture the atmosphere of the stadium, including crowd energy, supporter groups, and special activations
* Deliver compelling visual narratives that align with the club’s brand identity

**Real-Time Delivery**

* Edit and deliver select images quickly during matches for immediate use on social media
* Work closely with the social media team to prioritize and distribute key moments live
* Provide a full gallery of edited images within a defined post-match timeline

**Collaboration**

* Coordinate with the social media manager, videographers, and marketing staff for content alignment
* Support sponsor and partner activations by capturing branded moments and experiences
* Communicate with coaching staff and operations (when necessary) for access and positioning

**Qualifications**

* Proven experience in sports photography (soccer preferred)
* Strong understanding of camera equipment, settings, and shooting in dynamic lighting conditions
* Ability to anticipate action and capture peak moments consistently
* Proficiency in photo editing software such as Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure live event environment
* Strong attention to detail and visual storytelling

 **Preferred Skills**

* Experience shooting for sports teams, leagues, or live events
* Familiarity with quick-turn editing for social media use
* Understanding of branding and content strategy in sports
* Ability to shoot both action and lifestyle/marketing content

 **Work Environment & Schedule**

* Must be available for all home matches, including nights and weekends
* On-site presence required for entire match day (pre-game through post-game)
* Flexible schedule based on team calendar and content needs

**Equipment Requirements**

* Professional-grade camera body and lenses suitable for sports photography (e.g., telephoto lenses)
* Ability to manage and deliver high-resolution files efficiently
* Laptop and editing capabilities for quick turnaround (preferred)
