Position Summary
The Food & Beverage Staff (Operations) position is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while preparing, serving, and maintaining food and beverage operations during events at Ascension St. John Sportsplex. Team members will assist with concessions, event setup, restocking, and cleanliness to ensure a high-quality experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and efficient service to guests at concessions stands and event locations.
- Prepare and serve food and beverage items in accordance with facility and health department standards.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Assist with setup, restocking, and breakdown of food & beverage stations before and after events.
- Maintain cleanliness of all food service areas, including counters, prep areas, and equipment.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
- Communicate effectively with other staff and supervisors to ensure smooth event operations.
- Support the overall guest experience by maintaining professionalism and a positive attitude.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, concessions, or customer service preferred but not required.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Current food handler’s permit (or willingness to obtain prior to start).
- Team-oriented mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction.
