The CBO/CRO will oversee all business operations with a  focus on growth, execution, and accountability. This is not a “maintain the status quo” role—it’s for someone who can see the vision, enjoys being a builder and can lead with inspirational excellence across departments, and turn his or her vision into solid results.

Key Responsibilities: 
● Lead and oversee all revenue-generating functions of the club: ticket sales, sponsorship, marketing, operations, merchandise, while supporting the bottom line and community engagement, and fan experience.

● Set clear priorities and aggressive KPIs—and hold the team accountable to reaching them. 
 
● Build a winning front office culture rooted in hustle, ownership, creativity, collaboration, and fun. 
 
● Identify and eliminate barriers to execution, keeping the team moving upward and aligned. 
 
● Develop talent: recruit or create top talent, mentor and coach them up, and help them grow as they achieve their goals. 
 
● Collaborate closely with ownership and the sporting department to align business and competitive strategies. 
 
● Ensure the club delivers best-in-class experiences for fans, partners, and the Tulsa community. 
 
● Manage budgets and resources efficiently. 
 
● Serve as a public-facing leader for FC Tulsa—representing the club with inspiration, energy, and professionalism. 
 
Who You Are: 
● A sales leader who preferably has overseen both ticket sales and sponsorships and has been a department leader of one or the other.  
  
● You set the tone: high standards, high energy, and high output. 
 
● You have an “own it” mentality—if something needs doing, you make it happen. 
 
● You attract and develop top talent and know how to get the most out of people. 
 
● A builder who knows how to scale systems, teams, and revenue. 
 
● Equal parts strategic and operational—you can see the big picture and still sweat the details. 
 
Requirements: 
● 7–10+ years of progressive leadership experience in sports, entertainment, or high-growth businesses. 
 
● Knowledge of an successful ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results across departments 
 
● Experience overseeing revenue functions such as ticketing and/or corporate partnerships and achieving revenue targets plus familiarity and use of data. 
 
● Solid business and financial acumen with experience managing P&Ls and department budgets. 
 
● Positive, clear communicator, motivator, and culture shaper.  
 
 ● Strong partnership builder and good empathy toward city and local politicians and the effects on a professional sports franchise
 
Bonus Points: 
● Experience in major leagues (NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL) and the USL, MLS, MiLB, or similar leagues where innovation and resourcefulness are essential. 
 
● Track record of transforming underperforming teams or building new ventures from the ground up. 
 
● Deep understanding of the Tulsa market or a demonstrated passion for building community-driven sports organizations.
