Position Summary

The Director of Ticket Sales and Service is responsible for leading all ticket revenue generation for FC Naples, including Season Memberships, Group Sales, Single Match Tickets, Premium Seating, and Flex Plans. This individual will develop the overall ticket sales strategy, build and coach a high-performing sales team, establish measurable performance standards, and collaborate across the organization to maximize attendance and revenue.

This leader will work closely with the CEO, COO, Chief Data Officer, Marketing, Ticket Operations, Partnerships, and Matchday Operations to ensure every ticket product is strategically positioned and successfully executed.

Success in this role is measured not by individual ticket sales, but by the ability to build a motivated team, create scalable sales processes, and consistently achieve organizational revenue goals.

This is a full-time, exempt position based in Naples, Florida.

Primary Responsibilities

Ticket Sales Leadership

  • Lead all ticket sales initiatives across:
    • Season Memberships
    • Group Sales
    • Single Match Tickets
    • Flex Plans
    • Premium Seating
  • Develop and execute the annual ticket sales strategy aligned with organizational revenue objectives.
  • Establish department goals, KPIs, sales targets, and accountability systems.
  • Build scalable sales processes that improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Continuously evaluate market opportunities and recommend new ticket products and pricing strategies.
Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing ticket sales team.
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate Account Executives through regular one-on-one meetings, call reviews, role-playing, and performance feedback.
  • Create a culture of accountability, professionalism, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop incentive programs, sales contests, recognition initiatives, and career development opportunities to maintain high motivation.
  • Foster an environment where team members are excited to grow professionally and contribute to the long-term success of FC Naples.
Sales Performance Management

  • Track both sales inputs and outputs, including:
    • Calls
    • Meetings
    • Appointments
    • Emails
    • Pipeline activity
    • Revenue generated
    • Conversion rates
  • Hold regular pipeline and forecasting meetings.
  • Ensure CRM and ticketing systems are accurately maintained and effectively utilized.
  • Analyze sales performance and adjust strategies based on data and market conditions.
Revenue Strategy

Develop comprehensive strategies for:
  • New Season Membership Acquisition
  • B2B Season Ticket Sales
  • Membership Renewals and Upgrades
  • Corporate Sales and Premium Seating
  • Flex Plan sales
  • Group Sales growth


Cross-Department Collaboration

Partner closely with:

  • Marketing to maximize demand generation and single-match sales.
  • Chief Data Officer to leverage analytics, CRM data, reporting, and forecasting.
  • Ticket Operations to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  • Partnerships to create value-added ticket opportunities.
  • Community Relations to develop meaningful local relationships.
  • Matchday Operations to enhance the fan experience and support long-term retention.
Membership Experience

Develop strategies that continually increase the value of being a Season Member by:

  • Identifying new member benefits.
  • Improving renewal rates.
  • Increasing engagement.
  • Enhancing the overall membership experience.
  • Building long-term fan loyalty.
Budget & Planning

  • Assist in developing annual ticket revenue budgets.
  • Maintain strong awareness of departmental expenses and ensure responsible budget management.
  • Produce accurate sales forecasts.
  • Work with Chief Data Officer on reporting to executive leadership.
  • Recommend strategic adjustments based on performance.

Preferred Experience

  • 5–8+ years of progressively responsible ticket sales experience in professional sports.
  • Previous leadership experience managing a ticket sales representative team.
  • Experience in the NBA, NHL, MLB, MiLB, USL, ECHL, or similar sports organizations strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing Season Memberships, Group Sales, Premium Seating, and Ticket Operations.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
  • Experience with ticketing platforms such as SeatGeek, Ticketmaster, Paciolan, Vivenu, or equivalent systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
