Position Overview:
El Paso Locomotive FC is seeking a talented and motivated Graphic Design Intern to join our Marketing & Communications team. This full-time internship is designed for a recent college graduate who is looking to gain professional experience in sports marketing and design. The Graphic Design Intern will assist in the creation of digital and print materials that support the organization’s marketing campaigns, community initiatives, and matchday presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and production of marketing materials, including social media graphics, digital advertisements, print collateral, and in-stadium signage.
- Assist the creative team in capturing content, including interviews, video shoots, photography sessions, and event documentation.
- Provide input for, and assistance with, the overall look and feel of the Locomotive brand while maintaining brand consistency across all visual materials in accordance with established design guidelines.
- Collaborate with the marketing department on the club content calendar.
- Participate in weekly meetings and brainstorming sessions for creative and engaging content to enhance the Club’s brand awareness.
- Assist in managing creative requests and ensuring the timely delivery of assets.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must qualify to be an intern, which means a recent college graduate. This is a learning experience and not a part-time job.
- Working knowledge and abilities in Adobe Creative Cloud – Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus, but not required.
- Must be available to work all El Paso Locomotive FC home matches as well as nights and weekends.
This internship begins in January 2026 and extends through the end of the Locomotive season. We offer a $750 monthly stipend for living expenses, along with $10 per hour for scheduled matchday & grassroots marketing work.
