The Premium Sales Intern with Detroit City FC will support the Premium Sales team in delivering high-level hospitality and client experiences at Keyworth Stadium. This role provides hands-on exposure to premium sales operations, matchday execution, and customer engagement within a professional soccer organization.

The intern will assist with preparation, coordination, and in-game support for premium areas while learning the day-to-day responsibilities of a premium sales operation. This opportunity is ideal for students or recent graduates interested in a career in sports sales or premium hospitality.

Reports to: Premium Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities

Support the Premium Sales team with matchday preparation and execution in premium spaces.

Assist with client hospitality, check-ins, and in-game support during Detroit City FC home matches.

Help ensure premium areas are set up, organized, and operating smoothly on matchdays.

Shadow Premium Sales staff to gain exposure to sales conversations, client interactions, and relationship management.

Assist with premium client events and activations as needed.

Provide general support to the Premium Sales staff before, during, and after matches.

Complete additional duties as assigned to support premium sales operations.

Applicants must be currently enrolled in college or recent graduates.


This position does not require a valid driver’s license.

This is an unpaid internship. There will be opportunities for paid hours as match day staff, retail, or ticket collecting. 

This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.

 

This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to exchange ideas and information. This is a somewhat sedentary role; however, some filing is required. The position requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
