Overview: As part of the Detroit City FC front office, the Partnership Activation Coordinator is responsible for activating all corporate partners contractual elements. Including gameday & in-market activations, signage, media deliverables, community programs, partner internal & external events, promotions, etc.

This role is important in deepening the relationships with current partners to grow partnership
investments through increased renewal revenue and upsells.

The successful candidate will work with the Club’s leadership team on delivering measurable
results against each partner’s key marketing objectives. Role will also have responsibility
against managing partnership inventory and additional reporting documents. Responsible for
partnership recaps and additional partnership outreach to showcase the work DCFC has done
to deliver value for the DCFC partner portfolio.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Integral part of the partnerships team, managing DCFC’s current partner portfolio with duties included but not limited to account management, fulfillment of contractual obligations, activation management and partnership recaps
  • Manage sponsorship data systems, including asset inventory. Manage available inventory/designations, track sold inventory and meet or exceed deadlines
  • Actively participate in conversations with current partners to drive renewals and identify upsell opportunities, contributing directly to the club's revenue growth.
  • Help build prospecting decks for partner renewals and potential new partners, conceptualizing and building custom concepts for pitches and presentations
  • Deliver the highest service level to DCFC corporate partners
  • Compile industry trends for partners and categories
  • Matchday hospitality
  • This position will require attendance at DCFC home matches

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business, or related field; or equivalent professional experience in sports marketing field with a strong focus on backend management, organization, event management
  • Strong organization and communication skills are a prerequisite.

  • Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software technological enhancements

  • Soccer knowledge is preferred, but not required

Essential Functions: This position requires the ability to lift 25 pounds, be mobile for
extended periods of time and work over ten hours in a given day.
