Position Purpose

The Account Executive, Premium Sales is responsible for driving new revenue through the sale of Detroit City FC’s premium seating and hospitality products, including luxury suites, premium seating areas, party decks, and VIP experiences at Keyworth Stadium and future offerings at AlumniFi Field.

This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional with a proven ability to sell high-value products to corporate decision-makers, business owners, and high-net-worth individuals. The Account Executive will focus heavily on outbound prospecting, relationship building, and executing customized sales presentations to close new and multi-year premium agreements, including priority access and future inventory tied to AlumniFi Field.

The Account Executive, Premium Sales will report directly to the Manager of Premium Sales.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a proactive sales strategy to generate new revenue from premium seating and hospitality products at Keyworth Stadium and future premium inventory at AlumniFi Field.

Prospect new business through outbound calls, networking, referrals, in-person meetings, and community engagement.

Educate prospects on long-term premium opportunities, including priority positioning and benefits associated with AlumniFi Field.

Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate leaders, decision-makers, and high-net-worth clients.

Conduct face-to-face and virtual sales presentations, tailoring premium offerings to meet client entertainment and business objectives.

Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract execution.

Consistently meet or exceed individual and team revenue goals.

Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline management within the CRM system.

Collaborate with premium service and ticket operations teams to ensure a seamless client experience and retention.

Attend networking events, client meetings, and community functions to generate leads.

Work all assigned matchdays and special events, hosting clients and prospects.

Support broader ticketing and organizational initiatives as assigned.


Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of B2B sales experience; sports, entertainment, or hospitality preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in business, sports management, marketing, or a related field preferred.

Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Self-motivated, competitive, and team-oriented with a strong drive to succeed.

Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides); CRM experience (Salesforce preferred).

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Soccer knowledge is a plus, but not required.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.


This position does not require a valid driver’s license.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.
 
Work Environment
This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to exchange ideas and information. This is a somewhat sedentary role; however, some filing is required. The position requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
