Corpus Christi FC is a professional soccer organization affiliated with the United Soccer League (USL). The USL Championship and USL League One make up the largest professional men’s soccer league in the United States. Corpus Christi FC is based out of South Texas, an untapped soccer hotbed of Texas with thousands of youth players and many thousands more supporting the game at all levels. Corpus Christi FC in partnership with Next Sports Company LLC is developing a 5,000-seat soccer specific-stadium as part of a world class multi-sports facility that will be ready by Summer 2025 for its inaugural season as a professional team in March 2026 

JOB SUMMARY:
The Manager, Marketing Strategy & Operations will assist with marketing and communications efforts towards promoting our new professional soccer team.  We are seeking a highly organized, strategic, and collaborative Manager, Marketing Strategy & Operations. This vital role serves as the Key to our marketing department, connecting key functions across Brand & Creative, Content Strategy & Production, Retail and Business Intelligence & Growth Marketing. You'll be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing plans, translating insights into actionable briefs, ensuring seamless project management from concept to completion, and relentlessly driving our fan growth and engagement goals.

Marketing Operations & Project Management
  • End-to-End Project Ownership: Oversee marketing projects from inception through execution and post-campaign analysis, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Process Optimization: Implement and manage project management tools and workflows to enhance efficiency, collaboration, and transparency within the marketing department.
  • Resource Coordination: Proactively manage timelines, resources, and budgets for marketing campaigns, ensuring effective allocation and utilization.
  • Cross-Functional Liaison: Facilitate seamless communication and workflow between Brand & Creative, Content Strategy & Production, Business Intelligence & Digital Strategy, and other internal departments (e.g., Ticket Sales, Partnerships, Community Relations).

Fan Growth & Engagement Focus
  • Goal Alignment: Ensure all marketing strategies and tactics are explicitly tied to driving measurable fan growth and deepening fan engagement.
  • Performance Monitoring: Collaborate closely with the Business Intelligence team to track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, identifying key learnings and opportunities for optimization.
  • Fan Journey Optimization: Work to understand and enhance the fan journey across all touchpoints, identifying opportunities for improved experience and conversion
  • Cultural Relevance: Help identify cultural moments and trends to ensure the Dream's marketing efforts are timely, relevant, and resonate with key audiences.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 4-5 years of progressive experience in marketing strategy, project management, or integrated marketing roles, preferably within sports, entertainment, or a consumer-facing brand.
  • Proven ability to develop comprehensive marketing plans and write clear, effective creative briefs.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com) and best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of influencing and collaborating across diverse teams.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for connecting dots and streamlining processes.
