Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop new large-scale partnerships for Rush Soccer with brands that align with our values and aim to promote soccer growth in the U.S.
  • Lead the sales process end-to-end – from prospecting and relationship building to ideation, pitching, negotiating, closing, and contract execution.
  • Build and create new paid partnerships with outside brands to help drive revenue for the organization.
  • Work in conjunction with the CEO to understand the relationship with our current account partners and potential partners.
  • Design unique partnerships that not only generate revenue but also boost engagement, recognition, community impact, and conversions.
  • Report on sales pipeline, prospecting efforts, and revenue achievements as required.
  • Initiate and manage outbound sales campaigns.
  • Build executive-level relationships and host potential partners at key Rush Soccer events, with an emphasis on local market engagement.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of experience in developing and negotiating large-scale partnerships.
  • Willingness to travel to Rush Soccer events and work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Proactive work ethic with a diverse approach to strategy.
  • Existing relationships that the organization can lever.
  • Outstanding negotiation skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Self starter, building and driving revenue from scratch.
  • In-depth knowledge of the sports marketing and media landscape.
  • Track record of building complex partnerships.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Team-oriented with a focus on results.
  • Problem-solving skills for a growing organization.
  • Accountability for setting and achieving ambitious goals.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Eagerness for continuous learning and development in the soccer field.
  • Proficiency in CRM, Google Work Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • A passion for soccer, sports, and/or entertainment is preferred.

The base salary for this position is $80,000-$90,000 with an uncapped commission structure directly tied to revenue created and new partnerships developed.

This role at Rush Soccer offers the chance to significantly impact the growth of soccer at a national level, working within a forward-thinking and collaborative team dedicated to the sport's development.
