About Us:
One of the leading soccer academies dedicated to fostering player development and community engagement. We are committed to excellence both on and off the field and are looking for a passionate and experienced Soccer Operations Manager to help us achieve our goals.


Position Overview:
The Assistant General Manger will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our club, ensuring smooth logistical coordination, compliance with regulations, and efficient management of events and activities. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a deep understanding of soccer operations.


Key Responsibilities:

Team Logistics: Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodation, and meals for away games. Must be able to travel occasionally
Equipment Management: Oversee maintenance, and distribution of team equipment and uniforms as well as game day set ups. Must be able to occasionally lift 50 pounds.
Scheduling: Develop and manage training, match, and event schedules in collaboration with coaching staff and league officials.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to league rules and regulations, managing player registrations and administrative tasks in a timely manner.
Event Coordination: Plan and execute club events, including home matches, tournaments, fundraising events etc.
Club Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for players, coaches, league officials, opposition teams etc. ensuring clear and effective communication.
Position Duties: Will work in conjunction with the Vice President & Sporting Director
Intern Management: Will be solely responsible for training, managing, and interviewing interns as part of our Summer Internship program for USL 2 and USL W league.

 


 


Qualifications:

Experience: Proven experience in sports management or a related field, with a focus on soccer/sportsoperations.
Education: Must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year institution.
Organizational Skills: Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. This includes Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with a diverse group of stakeholders.
Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure.
Knowledge of Soccer and Playing Experience: Comprehensive understanding of soccer operations, and playing experience (at a high level preferred).

Pay:
$45,000.00 - $50,000.00


Schedule:


Applicant must be able to work evenings and weekends. Schedule determined upon hiring.
