Pay Rate: $55,000 - 60,000 plus commission opportunities
Brooklyn FC’s Partnership team develops partnerships and corporate sponsorships with brands to drive brand awareness, execute experiential opportunities, drive B2C business and create meaningful community outreach programs. These are among some of the many activities you will be contributing to as a member of this team.
The Partnerships Activation Coordinator will come in as a key member of the Brooklyn FC Partnerships team, assisting in executing partnership programs with local and national brands, with a goal to enhance the team’s visibility and engagement with fans and sponsors.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities
- Lead in managing relationships with corporate partners, community partners, and team performance partners, ensuring timely communication and addressing any needs or concerns
- Project manage the execution of partnership activation plans, including coordinating in-game promotions, managing sponsor signage, and helping with digital and community events
- Help organize and execute events, promotions, partner content shoots, ensuring all elements are aligned with partner expectations and team goals
- Perform administrative duties related to partnership activation, such as maintaining records, preparing reports, and tracking deliverables
- Work closely with the marketing, ticketing, sporting, and game operations teams to ensure smooth integration of partnership elements into various team activities
- Support the partnership team in sponsor renewal by tracking what worked and maintaining a strong relationship with stakeholders
- Perform outbound prospecting for new sponsorship opportunities
- Assist in partner needs throughout the week including going to the stadium to receive shipments, attending partner content shoots, or out of office meetings
Basic Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sports Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong interest in sports and the soccer industry, with a desire to learn and grow in the field of partnership activation
- Extremely customer focused (with both internal and external clients)
- Must be detailed-oriented with the ability to handle multiple assignments and projects under pressure
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to be in the office 3 days a week and attend all home matches and community events (including weekends)
- Ability to travel to the stadium when needed during the week
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
