Overview of Brooklyn Football Club Brooklyn FC is defining the future of soccer in America. In 2024, Brooklyn will begin play in the inaugural season of the USL Super League team and in 2025 will launch a USL Championship team. Along with USL Academy teams. Job Title: Manager, Team Operations
Job Type: Full time
Salary: $45,000 - $53,000

Job Overview: 
The Manager, Team Operations will manage the teams day-to-day operations of Brooklyn FC’s Super League team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of team operations to ensure efficient management of the team on and off of the pitch

Responsibilities:

Administration:
  • Coordinate practice schedules and facilities for players and coaching staff
  • Manage team logistics for away matches, including travel arrangements, accommodations, air/ground transportation, and itinerary
  • Assist with team logistics for home matches, including credentials, tickets, visiting team admin requests, and match day timeline
  • Serve as onsite game day administrator and operations contact for coaches, players, league officials and match officials
  • Liaise with club and league officials and Maimonides Park staff, on match day logistics and compliance under USL Super League standards
  • Coordinate player and staff with relocation logistics and obtaining social security/immigration documents
  • Manage Super League registration and roster management
Equipment:
  • Oversee all aspects of team equipment, including ordering, organize, and keep inventory of all team equipment and apparel
  • Manage, organize, and transport equipment needs of first team players, coaches, technical, and medical staff
  • Assist coaching staff with training field set-up.
  • Launder and/or oversee the laundry staff to launder and maintain all training and match day gear.
  • Support internal staff with requests as needed


Required and Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four year university, preferably in sport management, athletic administration, business management, or a related field
  • Substantial knowledge of the sport, both domestically and internationally 
  • 2+ years of experience in club or team operations, preferably in soccer
  • Availability to travel to all away games
  • Knowledge in group travel coordination, including air and ground travel, as well as hotel booking 
  • Availability to non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to exercise tasks, discretion, and sound judgment
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Bilingual with English and Spanish or French as their spoken and written languages
  • Driver’s license or ability to obtain one
