Overview of Brooklyn Football Club

Brooklyn FC is defining the future of soccer in America. In 2024, Brooklyn will begin play in the inaugural season of the USL Super League team and in 2025 will launch a USL Championship team. Along with USL Academy teams.

We represent the 77 neighborhoods in the Brooklyn borough and are dedicated to uplifting our community through our global sport. Brooklyn FC is looking for hardworking and proactive ticket operations professionals to join our growing staff to launch USL Super League & USL Championship season ticket memberships to the Brooklyn and Tri-State community. As Manager of Ticket Operations, you will oversee all facets of ticket operations for Brooklyn FC, which includes season and event setup, distribution of tickets, event management, and other duties as assigned. This position will report directly to the Head of Ticketing & Hospitality.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Lead management of ticketing partner as ticket providers and database management. 
  • Design and implement sales strategies with the Sales Department for season packages and group products, aiming to maximize revenue generation. 
  • Responsible for all revenue, game-day and settlement reporting to Leadership. 
  • Manage daily operation of the Ticket Office including, monitoring and evaluating employee performance, handle grievances, according to our policies on both game and non-game days, and finalizing work schedules and payroll.
  • Build and maintain manifests, season, and ticket plans in the ticket system
  • Determine staffing requirements, interview, hire, and aid in training Ticket Office employees.
  • Manage secondary ticket sales.
  • Collaborate with counterparts in Analytics, Sales & Service, Sponsorships, Marketing, and Finance to accomplish team objectives
  • Coordinate with Marketing Department on single game initiatives and special pricing offers.
  • Manage online presence of Ticket Operations, namely single game sales, season ticket packages, group sales and the ticketing platform account portal.
  • Set up and maintain all necessary hardware, such as computers, printers, scanners, and server 
  • Assist in the management of parking for hospitality clients and VIPs.
  • Lead game to game and month to month reporting for overall ticket revenue and gate totals. 
  • Other duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Four or more years' experience in managing the daily operations of a ticket office.
  • Experience in sports industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of various ticketing software programs.
  • Experience in all types of ticketing sales, including group and season packages.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong management and supervisory skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers, staff, peers, and management of all levels.
  • Highly organized with great attention to detail.
