The Performance Analyst Intern will be responsible for contributing to the design and delivery of video analysis to support the technical staff during the 2026 Season.
Main Responsibilities
- Film each training session with drone and upload footage for technical staff to review
- Assist Head of Analysis and assistant coaches with coding/tagging and organization of footage
- Support first team staff in opponent scouting
Ideal Candidate
- Strong knowledge and understanding of soccer (tactics, principles of play)
- Experience with Hudl Suite
- Experience in professional or college soccer environment is a plus
- Experience operating a drone
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information within a professional environment
- Strong attention to detail and capable of working in fast-paced, demanding environment
- Must be reliable and meet deadlines
This is an unpaid internship for the 2026 season, with the opportunity to earn college credit as needed per individual program requirements. Must be able to attend Birmingham Legion training sessions in person.
