Job Summary

Birmingham Legion FC is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Manager of Ticket Operations and Business Intelligence to lead the club’s ticketing systems and data analytics initiatives. This role is responsible for optimizing ticket sales, streamlining operations, and delivering actionable insights that drive revenue and enhance the fan experience.

Responsibilities

Ticket Operations

  • Oversee all ticketing operations including season tickets, group sales, single-game tickets, and special packages.
  • Manage ticketing platform setup, pricing, and inventory control.
  • Coordinate with stadium box office and third-party vendors for seamless gameday execution.
  • Provide customer support and resolve ticketing issues efficiently.
Business Intelligence & Analytics

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track ticket sales, attendance, and fan engagement.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, forecast demand, and inform pricing and promotional strategies.
  • Present insights to leadership to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align data-driven initiatives with business goals.
CRM & Data Management

  • Administer CRM systems to ensure accurate customer data and segmentation.
  • Support targeted marketing campaigns and fan retention strategies using CRM insights.
  • Maintain data integrity and implement best practices for database hygiene.
Collaboration & Leadership

  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, partnerships, and operations teams.
  • Train and manage part-time ticketing staff and interns.
  • Assist in planning and executing ticket-related promotions and events.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in ticketing operations and data analytics (sports industry preferred).
  • Proficiency in ticketing platforms (e.g., SeatGeek, Ticketmaster) and CRM systems.
  • Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and matchdays.
Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with USL or other professional sports leagues.
  • Experience integrating ticketing and CRM data for business insights.
  • Passion for soccer and community engagement.
