Position Overview
AC Boise is seeking a creative and driven Social Content Marketing Intern to support the club’s marketing and social media efforts through content ideation, capture, and editing. This internship offers hands-on experience creating real-time, high-impact content for a professional soccer club in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate is a creative self-starter with a strong understanding of what performs on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging social channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture clean, high-quality photo and video content using a phone or camera
- Create short-form social content optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
- Film behind-the-scenes, day-in-the-life, training, and game-day content
- Edit quick-turn videos for real-time posting during games, events, and activations
- Contribute creative ideas that align with social trends, platform behavior, and brand goals
- Collaborate closely with marketing, creative, and social teams
- Assist with occasional long-form or YouTube content as needed
Qualifications
- Experience with short-form video editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, etc.)
- Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging social platforms
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and pivot quickly
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, or early mornings for games and events
- Basic graphic design skills (Photoshop, Canva, Illustrator) are a plus
- Prior experience creating high-engagement social content is preferred
