Match Presentation Coordinator


The Match Presentation Coordinator is responsible for running the scoreboard, game clock, and the field LED boards during live events from the broadcast or control booth. This role operates the scoreboard control system to update scores, manage the game clock, trigger graphics or animations, and ensure all displayed information is accurate and synchronized with live gameplay. This position also programs and operates the on-field LED boards.


The coordinator works closely with the Director of Operations, game officials, the public address announcer, and production staff to respond quickly to in-game changes. Attention to detail, quick reaction time, and the ability to stay focused in a fast-paced live environment are essential.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate the scoreboard control system to update scores, game clock, and period information during live play.


  • Trigger scoreboard graphics, animations, and other visual elements as directed by the game presentation or broadcast team.


  • Maintain accurate timing and synchronization with game officials and the public address announcer.


  • Monitor gameplay closely to ensure all scoreboard information is correct and updated in real time.


  • Follow the official game script or run of show to maintain timing for pre-game, halftime or intermission, and post-game on-field activities.


  • Coordinate with gameday staff to cue and track fan engagement segments, ceremonies, and promotions so they stay on schedule.


  • Communicate with broadcast and operations staff to quickly adjust timing if delays or changes occur.


  • Assist with basic setup and shutdown of scoreboard or control booth equipment before and after events.


  • Control and update field-level LED boards and ribbon boards, ensuring accurate rotation of sponsorship and partnership assets throughout the match.


  • Cue and trigger technical entertainment elements, including videoboard features, crowd prompts, and sponsored activations.


  • Conduct pre-match system checks and content verification for LED boards, video displays, and presentation systems.


  • Collaborate with marketing, partnerships, and production teams to prepare and organize matchday asset playlists and run-of-show documents.




Preferred Skills

  • Experience operating scoreboard control systems, live graphics software, or similar broadcast and stadium production platforms.


  • Familiarity with LED control systems and digital signage platforms used for field-level boards and ribbon displays.


  • Understanding of live event production workflows, including control room communication and cue execution.


  • Ability to quickly troubleshoot technical issues in a live event environment.


  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple technical elements simultaneously during live events.


  • Comfort working with production equipment, control systems, and digital asset playlists in a live sports environment.


  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced live event environment.


  • Ability to communicate clearly and work as part of a team.


  • Interest in live sports production, event operations, or broadcasting.


  • Ability to remain focused and responsive during live gameplay.
