This is an exempt position reporting to the VP, Soccer.

Athletic Club Boise will join USL League One for the 2026 season. With more than 7,o00 season ticket deposits, the Club has set the all-time record for all USL clubs in all leagues. The Club's ownership group includes 4-time United States Men's National Team keeper Kasey Keller and is anchored by CEO and co-founder Brad Stith, alongside longtime sports executive Steve Patterson, local developer David Wali, and former Vice Chair of U.S. Soccer Dr. Bill Taylor, in addition to a well-known, committed group of local business and community leaders. The club's mantra — Built by Boise, For Boise — has already galvanized regional support, breaking  the aforementioned USL season ticket deposit records and drawing thousands to community events.

Position Summary/Objective:
The Equipment Manager is the behind-the-scenes MVP, making sure Athletic Club Boise is always ready to compete. From prepping locker rooms and managing gear to supporting travel, training, and matchday operations, this role keeps the team running seamlessly. If you’re organized, dependable, and thrive in fast-paced environments, you’ll be the difference-maker that helps our players shine on the field.

KEY Responsibilities:
Assist Director of Soccer Operations with the day-to-day preparation for practice, games, including but not limited to:

TEAM OPERATIONS:
  • Assist in travel preparations (Packing)
  • Assists in preparations for away team arrival made and are within league regulations -Referee Liaison
  • Communicate with referee crew prior to visits
  • Locker room liaison on match day (Referee)
  • Assist in preparing Home, Away, and referee locker rooms on match day

TEAM SUPPORT:
  • Assist in inventorying and distributing team apparel to all players and team staff ● Assist in inventory, and account for all team equipment usage
  • Assist setup and breakdown of training equipment and field based on coaches needs -Assist distribution and laundering all team training and game gear
  • Packing and organizing of equipment /gear for all matches and travel
  • Assist in maintaining a tidy and neat locker room, equipment room and team lounge -Assist in providing transportation for players who do not have their own vehicles for appointments and other team/football operations needs
  • Assist with visiting team training sessions
  • Assist with Staff/Player meal
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Experience in team operations or equipment management (soccer a plus).
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable.
  • Strong communicator and team player.
  • Able to lift, transport, and set up equipment.
  • Flexible schedule with nights, weekends, and travel.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
