Position Overview
The Inside Sales Representative will play a key role in generating new revenue through the sale of season tickets, group tickets, and ticket packages. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to begin their sports sales career, with hands-on experience in research, prospecting, sales outreach, and matchday operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting & Research: Identify and research potential season ticket holders, group buyers, and ticket package prospects through databases, networking, and community outreach.
- Outbound Sales: Execute targeted outbound calls, emails, and other communication to connect with prospective buyers and generate new ticket sales opportunities.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate and detailed records of interactions, sales leads, and opportunities in the club’s customer relationship management system.
- Matchday Support: Assist the ticket sales and service team on game days, including sales table coverage, will call assistance, and engaging with fans to drive future sales.
- Sales Development: Participate in ongoing training sessions and professional development to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other ticket sales representatives and departments to maximize revenue opportunities and deliver a best-in-class fan experience.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and a professional phone manner.
- “Can do” attitude. Highly motivated, competitive, results and self-driven with a passion for sports business and a hunter mentality.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the match schedule.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM systems (preferred).
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
