Position Summary
Annapolis Blues FC is looking for energetic, outgoing, and community-minded individuals to join our Community Ambassador Team, or the "Blues Crew" as they are referred to around town. Ambassadors will represent the Blues at community events, festivals, soccer matches, and school or nonprofit visits as well as any other type of events or outings that help to spread the word and excitement about the Blues throughout the area !
Key Responsibilities
- Represent Annapolis Blues FC at community events, soccer games, and public appearances
- Assist with setup, breakdown, and operations at outreach events and match days
- Engage with fans, answer questions, and share information about the team.
- Distribute promotional materials and giveaways.
- Encourage sign-ups for mailing lists, memberships, and community programs
- Help in the display and sale of Annapolis Blues FC merchandise items at these events
- Support soccer clinics, fan activities, and interactive games for kids
- Serve as a positive and welcoming face of Annapolis Blues FC in the community.
Qualifications
- Strong ties to, the Annapolis / Anne Arundel County community & Chesapeake Region.
- Outgoing, approachable, and comfortable speaking to people of all ages.
- Passionate about soccer, and community engagement.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, outdoor event environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Available evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and brave the weather elements
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs. (boxes, tents, tables, etc.)
Hourly Rate: $17.00
Time Commitment: 10-16 per week
Schedule: Flexible - weekends, evenings and game days
