Position Overview
The Matchday DJ will be responsible for managing music and audio elements during Redlands FC home matches. This person will help set the tone before the game, maintain energy throughout the match, and use music and sound strategically to enhance key moments. The role will also support sponsor fulfillment by running approved audio advertisements and promotional spots during designated windows throughout the event.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage music and audio playback during Redlands FC home matches
- Build and operate playlists that fit the energy of different moments throughout the event
- Use music and sound effects to enhance the overall game day atmosphere
- Play sponsor advertisements, promotional reads, and approved in-stadium audio elements at the appropriate times
- Coordinate with game day staff to align music, announcements, and promotions with the run of show
- Help support key moments such as player warmups, team entrance, halftime, goals, substitutions, and postgame
- Monitor audio timing, volume, and transitions to ensure a smooth and professional presentation
- Arrive prepared with organized playlists, ad spots, and any needed audio files
- Help create a fun, engaging, and family-friendly environment for fans
Qualifications
- Strong sense of music selection, crowd energy, and event atmosphere
- Reliable, organized, and comfortable working in a live event setting
- Ability to follow a run of show and adapt in real time as game situations change
- Comfortable operating audio equipment, playback software, and microphones if needed
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with game day staff
- Available to work evenings and weekends during the season
- Previous experience as a DJ, in-game entertainer, audio operator, or live event producer is preferred but not required
Work Environment
- Primarily onsite at Redlands FC home matches
- Seasonal, part-time role
- Matchday availability is required
