Position Description

The Senior Analyst, Transformation will play a critical supporting role in advancing U.S. Soccer’s operational effectiveness through transformation initiatives and large-scale projects. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Transformation, this position offers visibility across the organization and the opportunity to work on projects that shape U.S. Soccer’s future. The Senior Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional leaders to drive efficiencies, improve processes, and help manage organizational change.

Primary Responsibilities 

Operational Efficiencies
  • Identify, evaluate and recommend opportunities for operational improvement and cost optimization across departments.
  • Support the execution of cross-functional transformation projects through data analysis, project tracking, process automation, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Build project documentation, dashboards, and process maps to support planning and implementation.
  • Support initiatives like Travel & Expense Optimization, and NTC Operational Readiness.
  • Collaborate with departments to collect inputs and analyze the impact of proposed changes.

Large Scale Special Projects
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of special projects such as Mergers & Acquisition support, World Cup 2026 budgeting and planning process, and Procure to Pay process transformation.
  • Support the Vice President in project planning, timeline management, and risk identification.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to gather business requirements, document processes, and provide data-driven recommendations.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in consulting, finance, project management, or operations functions.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power Query, Power BI, or other data visualization/automation tools is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • General knowledge of soccer.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Must be able to connect “micro” details to the “macro” vision and mission
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative approach and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage change effectively.

Desired Qualifications 
  • Prior experience working at either a nonprofit, sporting organization, or consulting firm.
  • Experience supporting transformation or operational improvement projects.
