Job Highlights:

Reports To:  Global Senior Director, People Operations

Location: Remote (Atlanta, GA & Dallas, TX applicants only)

Compensation: Hourly 

Position Overview:

TOCA Football is looking for an Admin, People Operations to help coordinate and execute administrative duties, onboarding tasks, building strong relationships with our new hires, people leaders and teammates, and providing support for various People & Culture  activities.  You will operate as the liaison between all People and Culture teams  supporting the full lifecycle of employee processes. 

 

The successful candidate will get the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with creating and delivering memorable employee experiences, contributing to HR process improvement projects, and adhering to people policies ensuring accuracy of employee data.  

 

Hours & Availability:

  • Part-Time, 28 hours per week
     

Job Responsibilities:

 

Administration & Compliance

  • Partner effectively with all People & Culture teams including People Operations, People  Partnerships, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition and Payroll to proactively identify opportunities and assess improvements to the teammate experience.  

  • Manage and monitor  the HR inbox ensuring all emails are responded to and actioned on in a timely manner

  • Manage employee data in the HRIS and external tracking tools to support processes such as onboarding, terminations, job changes, and payroll with a focus on employee experience and data integrity.

  • Process employee terminations including coordination of exit interviews, separation paperwork, final checks, and aid with the exit process and asset collection

  • Ensure the confidentiality, accuracy, security and timely maintenance of HR data

  • Ensure compliance and maintenance of all employee files

  • Maintain positive working relationships with cross-functional teams as necessary

  • Assist in finding opportunities to automate and improve processes for scalability

  • Tactically support special projects, as needed

  • Support the compliance of all state and federal employment laws and requirements

  • Performs related duties as required

Engagement 

  • Support the execution of our company engagement and community programs and efforts, including our annual Culture Calendar and Wellness Calendar through posting on our internal communication channels or through our HR inbox.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledgeable in federal as well as multi-state labor laws & legislation; International knowledge UK/ Canada is a plus.

  • Aptitude for problem solving and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies 

  • Experience working in a start-up, fast paced, high volume environment, dynamic organization is preferred

  • An outgoing and energetic  personality, highly focused on creating positive energy  and who is eager to learn and  develop with the business

  • Ability to work under pressure and at pace, overcoming challenges with a positive attitude

  • An excellent communicator (written and verbal)

  • Amazing attention to detail and strong organisation skills; demonstrate organization, communication, and accuracy in all work assigned

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously; capable of working autonomously while also contributing effectively to team collaboration

  • Service mindset; enjoys helping others while maintaining a customer service approach and positive attitude; able to interact effectively with employees, managers and external vendors

  • Demonstrated strong ethics, discretion and confidentiality 

  • Someone who uses their own initiative and has a can-do attitude 

  • Readiness to work outside fixed business hours as and when necessary 

 

Education and Experience: 

  • 1 year of experience in HR/People Operations.

  • Proven experience utilizing HRIS (Paycor preferred).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/ or Google Suite including PowerPoint/ Slides

  • Experience using Excel/Google Sheets proficiently and can confidently work with data (formulas, i.e., vlookup).
