Job Overview
As a Hospitality Manager, you’ll oversee and guide the team that delivers exceptional experiences to our guests. Your role will include leading, supporting, and developing your team while ensuring all operational aspects align with TOCA Social's high standards. You will be responsible for delivering a guest experience that matches our fun, energetic culture and helping teammates thrive in a supportive, safe environment.
Role Scope & Responsibilities:
- Serve as the go-to leader for teammates during shifts, providing guidance and coaching to enhance skills and ensure growth opportunities within the brand.
- Lead by example on the venue floor, ensuring a best-in-class experience for guests while maintaining visibility and approachability.
- Manage, inspire, and support a diverse team, creating a culture of collaboration, respect, and exceeding expectations for both guests and teammates.
- Oversee daily operations including inventory management, maintenance checks, and compliance with health, safety, and food/drink guidelines.
- Work with leadership to create effective schedules, adjusting for peak seasons and ensuring accurate labor costs.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of new teammates, ensuring they are equipped with the skills needed for success.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, focusing on finding solutions that create a positive outcome for everyone.
- Support budgeting and managing hospitality-related financial operations.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in hospitality management or competitive socializing environments, with at least 1-2 years in a management role.
- Proven ability to lead teams, foster a positive work environment, and develop teammates for growth.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), with an ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of people.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Proficiency in hospitality management software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Financial acumen, with experience in budget management and cost control
- Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices
