Job Summary:
 St. Louis CITY SC is looking to take on an IT intern for the summer of 2026 to gain experience working in and learning about the IT operations of a professional sports franchise and assist in the day-to-day tasks necessary to support our club, our employees, and our fans.  This position will have a wide variety of opportunities to work in different aspects of IT including traditional office-based responsibilities and supporting game day operations at Energizer Park downtown. 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and stadium systems
  • Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support
  • Organize and maintain IT resources
  • Participate in the deployment of new hardware and/or applications
  • Research technology solutions and pricing as required
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs
  • Available to work CITY home matches throughout the season
  • Lend IT support in areas such as: end user support, troubleshooting, hardware inventory, game day operations, and other needs as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Must be enrolled in a college or university for the Fall 2026 semester
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Must reside in the St. Louis area during the summer
  • Ability to work on-site a minimum of 20 hours per week
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
