Summary:
Reporting to the Academy Business Manager, the Operations Assistant will be a member of the Academy Staff and play a key role supporting the operational logistics for Right to Dream San Diego.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Planning and executing team and staff travel requirements, to include trialists, current student-athletes and their families
  • Assisting with budget management and financial tracking ‘budget to actuals’
  • Managing Performance Center visitors and communication
  • Schedule coordination and communication across key academy stakeholders
  • Support the Head of Academy with executive tasks; schedule management, correspondence, and travel planning
  • Support the planning and execution of Academy events: home matches, scouting events, and other Academy activities
  • Oversee the SDFC 'Street Team' and other part-time staff
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
  • Certifications / knowledge of necessary software programs for business operations, financial management and record keeping
Experience:
  • 3 years’ experience in team operations travel logistics and budget management
  • Relevant work experience in professional sports, university athletics department or sports club
Key Knowledge & Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Language requirements - Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) or multi-lingual skills is a plus.
