JOB TITLE: Partnerships Intern

LOCATION: New York, NY
COMPENSATION: $17/ hour, 30 hours per week
This is a season long internship and is expected to start in February and conclude at the end of the 2026 MLS season.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The NYCFC Partnerships Intern will play a key support role across the Partnerships team, contributing to the success of brand partnerships through operational support, project execution, and internal coordination. This role will provide exposure to both the sales and marketing sides of partnerships and offers opportunities to take ownership of specific tasks tied to matchday delivery, reporting, creative prep, and team operations.
The internship runs from February to November 2025 and is designed to support the development of future professionals in the sports partnerships and marketing space.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Support matchday logistics, including ticket tracking, credentials, gifting, and signage coordination
- Assist with deck creation, recap formatting, and presentation updates
- Help manage the internal photo library, creative assets, and imagery POP tracking
- Conduct brand and competitor research to support new business prospecting
- Build meeting prep docs, company overviews, and presentation slides
- Support operational projects such as Street Team, Signing Days, and partner gifting logistics
- Participate in internal team meetings and planning sessions
- Assist with execution of hospitality experiences across events and matchdays
- Collaborate across partnerships, marketing, creative, and community departments
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Knowledge of U.S. and global soccer landscape
- Interest in brand partnerships, marketing strategy, and event execution
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Positive, team-first mindset and willingness to jump into new projects
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
- Must comply with MLS Next Safety and Well-Being policy and other NYCFC policies
