JOB TITLE: Part-Time Content Producer, Youth Programs

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The purpose of this role is to assist the Content team in telling the story of New York City FC’s Youth Programs through best-in-class content for all New York City FC owned and operated channels. Working with the Director, Content & Director and Youth Programs, this role will be directly involved in creating compelling multimedia content that showcases the Club’s pipeline, events, training, and storytelling within the youth system while working alongside a talented and ambitious content team of videographers, photographers, and social media producers.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Play a key role in the delivery of creative innovative Youth-led content for New York City FC owned media platforms:
- Ideate, produce, create, and edit video and photo content highlighting Youth Programs matches, camps, training sessions, and events to showcase the overall youth experience across Talent Centers, Boys Select Teams, Girls Academy, City Roots, and Summer Camps
- Engage in pre-production planning, filming, and editing of both long-form and short-form video content
- Identify and execute storytelling opportunities that emphasize growth, opportunity, and promotion of Youth Programs initiatives and development.
- Set up lighting, audio equipment, and cameras for shoots, including multi-camera setups
- Process, organize, and maintain video file organization
- Stay up to date with social trends and identify opportunities for engagement, collaborating with the Content team to deliver short-form assets for owned channels.
- Follow brand guideline specifications and ensure consistency on quality during production.
WHO YOU ARE:
- 1-2 years of video production and photography experience
- 1-2 years of experience working with athletes and establishing relationships with coaches and sporting executives.
- Familiarity with MLS Next, U.S. Soccer youth landscape, or grassroots soccer programs
- Must be based in the NYC metro area and able to travel to various sites across the New York Metro area.
- Demonstrated ability to produce engaging content for social media
- Experience concepting, pitching, and editing content from start to finish, with strong creative and visual storytelling skills
- Excellent communication skills and strong understanding of brand awareness
- Able to work both independently and in a collaborative environment
- Experience shooting on Mirrorless, DSLR, or Digital Cine Cameras or equivalent
- Knowledge and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere and Lightroom
- Bilingual (Spanish or another language) is a plus
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to travel to various sites across the New York Metro area.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as necessary
- Applicant must be able to comply with MLS Next Safety and Well-Being policy and any other applicable child safety policies provided to applicants by NYCFC

COMPENSATION:
This nonexempt position has an hourly rate of $20.00/ hour and is overtime eligible. Final compensation offer amounts are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to demonstrated skill set, years and depth of relevant experience, and some role-dependent factors such as certifications and software expertise.
