POSITION OVERVIEW:
 New York City FC is looking to hire a Regional Hub Lead to provide oversight and administrative support of the Long Island Regional Hub, located on the campus of Long Island University.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Manage and oversee the operations of NYCFC Regional Hub | Long Island, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate seasonal programming schedules and ensure proper staffing for all programs that take place on location.  
  • Supervise program staff, providing mentorship, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities. 
  • Assist in the development and implementation of age-appropriate curriculum. 
  • Ensure all program participants and staff adhere to NYCFC policies and procedures. 
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance program offerings and partnerships.
  • Monitor and assess program success, making data-driven improvements. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • Previous competitive soccer coaching experience required.
  • USSF “B” or equivalent coaching license preferred. (USSF C working towards their USSF B License)
  • Detail oriented with excellent performance and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask, operate effectively, and make sound decisions in a dynamic working environment with frequent changes  and tight deadlines.
  • Must always possess a professional demeanor with the ability to handle difficult situations in a calm manner.
  • Strong interpersonal with the ability to quickly build trust and relationships with players, parents, and staff.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and efficiently – both verbal and written.
  • Must adhere to NYCFC and MLS policies and protocols surrounding minor players and SafeSport training.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: including, but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Applicant must be able to comply with MLS Next Safety and Well-Being policy and any other applicable child safety policies provided to applicants by NYCFC
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as necessary
 
COMPENSATION: 
This non-exempt position has an estimated annual base salary range of $63,400 and is overtime eligible. Final compensation offer amounts are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to demonstrated skill set, years and depth of relevant experience, and some role-dependent factors such as certifications and software expertise.
