The Washington Spirit is seeking Inside Sales Representatives to play a key role in driving ticket revenue and supporting continued attendance growth. This position is responsible for executing outbound sales efforts across the full portfolio of ticket products, with a primary focus on Full Season Tickets, while maintaining detailed records in the CRM and delivering exceptional customer interactions via phone, email, and in person. The ideal candidate will be strongly motivated to contribute, learn, and grow in a fast-paced sports sales environment. They should possess a high level of energy, a competitive mindset, and a team-first approach to achieving individual and departmental goals.
This program is specifically designed to launch entry-level careers in sports sales by providing extensive, hands-on training that focuses on building the skills required to become an industry sales leader.
Under the visionary leadership of owner Michele Kang and CEO Kim Stone, the Washington Spirit set a club attendance record in 2025. As an Inside Sales Representative, you'll play a key role in driving continued attendance growth and paving the way for the next generation.
The Inside Sales Representative will:
- Sell a full portfolio of Washington Spirit ticket products, with a primary focus on 2027 Full Season Tickets, through phone calls, emails, and in-person interactions
- Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals and hustle metrics established by leadership
- Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-up using a CRM system to track all sales activities and customer interactions
- Build and nurture relationships with prospective clients through consistent communication and face-to-face meetings using the club’s event-based selling model
- Attend all Washington Spirit home matches to support sales appointments, prospect engagement, sales tables, and game-day events
- Participate in sales-driven stadium and community events
- Attend weekly training, coaching, and professional development sessions led by the sales leadership team
- Work evenings and weekends as required to support games and events
- Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned by the Sales Manager
The ideal candidate has:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Previous sales experience preferred but not required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with high energy and enthusiasm
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain professional relationships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and related software
- Willingness and availability to work non-traditional hours, including nights and weekends, as an essential function of the role
Program Structure
Inside Sales Representatives are hired on a ten-month contract beginning in June 2026. Based on performance, departmental needs, and business demand, participants may have the opportunity to extend the program or transition into another role within the organization.
