The Retail Ambassador on our Merchandise team supports operational activities to drive merchandise order fulfillment and deliver exceptional service to fans and customers. Collaborating closely with the Merchandise Coordinator, this role assists in day-to-day operations on game day, pop up events, and the fulfillment center. Duties include, but are not limited to picking, packing and shipping inventory, picking, packing and moving products for Stadium events, jersey decoration, and other duties as needed.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work in Shopify to accurately fulfill customer orders, including picking, packing, and shipping, as well as work on customizations and customer order pickups on gamedays
- Maintain accurate inventory through conducting regular cycle counts and inventory audits
- Utilize Shopify tools and technology to work Point of Sale on gameday and pop-up events
- Move and operate necessary equipment to decorate retail jerseys for customer and internal orders
- Ensure Shopify hardware is working properly
- Maintain a clean workspace and warehouse. Keep equipment and designated areas clean and organized
- Work in a safe manner and identify and correct hazards. Comply with safety policies and best practices
- Other duties based on business needs
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate well
- Resourceful, self-starter- works well independently as well as part of a team, and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, or weekends
- Experience with Shopify is a plus
- Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stoop, and climb ladders as needed
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
*This is a seasonal position, with varying hours, not to exceed 30 hours per week. This role is hourly base compensation of $20/hour.
