The Merchandise Coordinator is responsible for partnering with internal and external stakeholders to support execution of the annual merchandise strategy, with a strong emphasis on game day retail planning and implementation. This role leads key operational activities to drive merchandise fulfillment, deliver exceptional service to fans and customers, and ensure efficient day to day operations across the warehouse and fulfillment center. Responsibilities include receiving, warehousing, picking, packing, shipping inventory, managing product movement within Shopify for stadium events, supporting jersey customization, and additional duties as needed.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work within Shopify platform to accurately fulfill customer orders, including picking, packing, and shipping, and manage customer order pickup scheduling for game days
- Coordinate game day merchandise logistics, including scheduling inventory deliveries and pickups
- Partner with the Merchandise Director to identify replenishment needs and prepare product for stadium and pop up events
- Manage inbound shipments and outbound pickups with third party carriers
- Receive bulk inventory shipments and process within expected turnaround times
- Perform quality control checks on incoming product and outgoing customer orders
- Maintain accurate inventory through regular cycle counts and inventory audits
- Utilize Shopify tools to manage inventory, set up POS systems for game day and pop up events, and support optimization of the online sales channel
- Operate equipment required for jersey decoration for both customer and internal orders
- Order and maintain appropriate inventory levels of customization transfers
- Track and maintain Shopify hardware, ensuring all equipment is functional
- Respond to and address customer service inquiries received through the merchandise email inbox within expected timeframe
- Fulfill internal department product requests and ensure accurate inventory deductions using appropriate coding
- Oversee player, Sporting Staff and Front Office Staff merchandise orders
- Schedule merchandise ambassadors as needed and approve timecards in Rippling
- Train and mentor merchandise ambassadors on standard operating procedures and performance expectations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and workspace environment
- Identify and address safety hazards and comply with all safety policies and best practices
- Perform additional duties as required based on business needs
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations or order fulfillment preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Adaptable and able to manage shifting priorities in a fast paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Experience with Shopify is a plus
- Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stoop, and climb ladders as needed
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs unassisted

This role is hourly base compensation of $31/hr - $33/hour.
