San Diego Wave Fútbol Club is on a mission to build a world class home for players and fans. We are searching for an employee who will create an amazing experience for our season ticket members making them feel like part of the Wave community. This individual will responsible for retaining revenue through the renewal of season ticket memberships, while simultaneously driving incremental revenue by discovering upsell and add-on opportunities . The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a keen eye for business development, and a passion for providing exceptional service.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Account Management & Retention
  • Serve as the primary account manager for a book of season ticket members with a focus on maximizing year-over-year renewal rate
  • Ensure seamless day-to-day service, including upgrades, payment plans, ticket exchanges, and client communications
  • Execute personalized retention strategies, tailored touch points, and service plans to maximize member satisfaction and loyalty
  • Conduct 80-100 daily outbound touchpoints (calls, emails, meetings) to boost engagement, build relationships, and create an incremental sales pipeline through upsell, cross-sell, and referral opportunities.
  • Oversee the member experience on matchdays, ensuring all experiences are guest-ready, properly staffed, and operating at a high standard. Address and resolve any real-time issues with a white-glove approach.
  • Proactively identify and capitalize on upsell, cross-sell, and referral opportunities to drive revenue growth and enhance the value delivered to members.
 
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in client services, sales or account management, preferably in sports, live entertainment, or hospitality.
  • Strong knowledge and prior usage of ticketing platforms (e.g., Archtics) and CRM systems (Salesforce).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, excels in relationships building while being collaborative, adaptable, and goal-oriented
  • Proven revenue generation & retention skills, passion about delivering exceptional service
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Work conditions (physical demands, travel, outdoors, etc.): Balance between in office work and offsite events & meetings. Must be willing and able to travel locally for client meetings & membership events. Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

This role is hourly base compensation of $21/hr - $24/hr + commission and bonuses.
