                                                                     Manager, Business Development
The National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) is the top professional women's soccer league in the USA, with 14 teams and +300 of the best soccer players globally. In its 12th season, the league continues to grow exponentially. The NWSL is shattering all-time fan attendance records with 2023 season shattering attendance and viewership records. In November 2023, the NWSL made history in announcing a four-year deal as the biggest deal in women's professional sports with four new broadcast partners for the 2024 season: Amazon Prime Video, CBS, ESPN and Scripps/ION.
Reporting to the SVP, Business Development, this position is a key hire for Partnerships group at the NSWL, with the focus on supporting the next phase of revenue growth for the league.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist with generating revenue for the NWSL by identifying and building integrated marketing partnerships utilizing league intellectual property, signage, media and other assets
  • Work cross functionally with all NWSL departments including senior leadership to build new programs, platforms and assets to meet the needs of the marketplace and growing partner roster
  • Maintain weekly/monthly reporting documents for broader Commercial team, senior leadership and Commercial Committee
  • Drive the legal process around the execution of all contracts
  • Assist with managing Sales Representation agency and pipeline
  • Work closely with the CMO and SVP to build and maintain relationships with sport marketing, advertising and media agencies
Required Skills/Knowledge Attributes:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in sales, business development, or partnerships at a league, team or agency

Salary: 85K-110K - 8% bonus plus commission. 
NWSL salaries are contingent upon candidates' qualifications, functional business needs, and market financials.
