The North Carolina Courage, a member of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team.

This is a hands-on role responsible for building recruiting processes and talent pipeline, capacity planning for full-time and seasonal staff, and partnering closely with leaders to bring top talent into the club. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building talent.


KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:   
  • Lead and own all full-cycle recruiting for all roles (front office, technical non-player, and seasonal staff)
  • Accurately enter and maintain new hire and employee data within the HRIS, ensuring all records are complete, compliant, and up to date as part of the onboarding process
  • Partner closely with the Employee Experience Manager to ensure timely, seamless handoffs of employees, fostering strong collaboration and a positive overall employee experience.
  •   Manage job postings, sourcing, screening, and interview coordination
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and candidate profiles
  •  Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for ongoing and seasonal hiring needs
  •  Ensure a consistent, structured, and high-quality interview process
  •   Ensure talent joining the club aligns with the club’s Operational Standards and values.
  •   Manage recruiting workflows within Rippling (ATS and hiring tools)
  • Standardize interview guides, scorecards, and hiring processes
  •   Track recruiting metrics (time to fill, pipeline health, offer acceptance rates)
  •   Continuously improve hiring efficiency and candidate experience
  •  Support workforce planning across departments, including high-volume seasonal hiring
  •  Lead workforce capacity planning for seasonal staffing needs (gameday, events, and peak periods), aligning hiring forecasts with business demand and operational goals. 
  •  Partner with department leaders to proactively assess staffing gaps, optimize headcount allocation, and ensure efficient, cost-effective workforce deployment. 
  • Design, implement, and own a structured internship program that aligns with the club’s strategic goals and long-term talent pipeline needs. 
  •  Partner cross-functionally to identify meaningful internship opportunities that provide real-world experience while supporting business priorities. 
  • Establish program standards, onboarding processes, and performance frameworks to ensure a high-quality, consistent intern experience and strong conversion to future full-time talent.
  • Capacity planning for future growth
  • Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience from application through offer
  • Support employer branding efforts across job platforms and outreach channels
  • Represent the organization in a professional and engaging manner


 QUALIFICATIONS:   
  •   3–5 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience
  •   Experience managing full-cycle recruiting across multiple roles
  •   Strong organizational and communication skills
  •  Sports experience preferred
  •  Ability to manage multiple open roles and priorities simultaneously
  •  Experience with an ATS or HRIS system (Rippling experience is a plus)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
