The North Carolina Courage, a member of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), is seeking a Senior Manager, Partnership Marketing to join our team. We hire people who help us work smarter, sharper, and more Courageous. This position plays a crucial part in enhancing the club’s revenue platforms while optimizing and enhancing fan engagement experiences during game-day events and holistic partnership integration all year round.

This role reports to the VP, Partnership Marketing.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborating with the sales, external and leadership teams to ensure seamless execution of all partnership activation assets including, but not limited to, on-site activations, in-game promotions, match day signage, linear TV broadcast inventory, digital content, social media campaigns, retail promotions, e-commerce, experiential marketing, community events and corporate hospitality management
- Responsible for managing key accounts, building trust and strong relationships with business owners and C-level stakeholders from all levels of partnership with the goal of providing a first-class experiences, listening and being solutions oriented to help both the partners and club create and grow sustainable revenue streams for the long term.
- Organizing and maintaining assets and materials required for corporate partners’ promotions and recaps
- Tracking inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels, and facilitating logistics for marketing and sponsorship-related items clearing the way for new business development
- Actively take the lead in the renewal of your partnership accounts, by proactively managing relationships, understanding shifts in partner strategies, designing proposals based on need/performance, and taking proposals and contracts out early in planning cycle
- Assist the department at all NC Courage home games through general set-up responsibilities of sponsorship deliverables and fulfillment obligations
- Support the department in day-to-day tasks and undertake projects/activities as recommended by the Partnership Marketing team and Corporate Sales team
- Capturing and organizing proof of performance throughout the year for various sponsor activations, retail promotions, or events
- Tracking measurement and having an innate understanding of KPI’s related to the performance of a partner campaign with a focus on showing ROI for brand partners
- Staying on top of market trends, community programs, and league-wide initiatives that can help better the visibility of the club and developing new ways to engage with fans
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field from an accredited college or university
- 5+ years of experience in sports or entertainment specializing in account management, marketing, promotions, sales, or related field, passion for soccer and women’s sports a plus
- Strong communication, organizational skills, with a polished level professionalism
- High level of adaptability and integrity in all that you do
- Positive, service-oriented attitude with superior attention to detail and customer service
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional nights and weekends, as needed
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook/Teams, Word/Excel/PowerPoint), CRM and inventory management systems (Salesforce, KORE, Sponsor CX), Ad tracking software (Blinkfire, Critical Mention), Creative software (Adobe, Canva) and Project Management tools (Asana) preferred
