The North Carolina Courage, a member of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), is seeking a Office Manager/Employee Experience to join our team. We hire people who help us work smarter, sharper, and more Courageous and this position plays a critical role in shaping how employees experience the Courage throughout their lifecycle from onboarding through day-to-day engagement and key moments that matter.

This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, people-centered, and energized by creating seamless, thoughtful experiences for employees while supporting leaders and People team initiatives. The role requires strong ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to execute consistently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Coordinate and execute employee engagement initiatives, recognition moments, team events, and internal communications.
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions related to policies, workplace logistics, and People programs, escalating as needed.
- Support onboarding and offboarding experiences to ensure employees feel welcomed, informed, and supported at key transition points.
- Partner with leaders to support team morale, connection, and alignment with Club values.
- Support interal communications such as reminders, updates, office announcements and staff logstics.
Onboarding, Offboarding & Lifecycle Support
- Coordinate new hire onboarding logistics including orientation scheduling, systems access requests, workspace setup, and Day 1 readiness.
- Ensure onboarding materials, welcome resources, and employee-facing documentation are accurate and accessible.
- Support offboarding processes including exit logistics, asset return coordination, and communication touchpoints.
Office & Workplace Experience/Operations
- Support day-to-day office operations including supplies, workspace organization, visitor management and coordination with vendors or facilities partners.
- Act as a point of contact for office-related questions and needs.
- Help plan and coordinate company meetings, offsites, and employee events, including logistics, scheduling, and communication.
- Coordinate office services including printer service, maintenance requests, cleaning schedule, vendor relationships.
- Manage ordering and inventory of office supplies and breakroom supplies.
- Manage the administrative budget and add receipts in RAMP for HR budget.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Skills & Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in office management, people experience, office operations, employee engagement, or a service-oriented operations role
- Demonstrated ability to own and execute employee experience initiatives (onboarding logistics, events, communications, workplace experience, internal resources)
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High degree of ownership, responsiveness, and follow-through — sees tasks through from idea to execution
- Clear, professional communicator comfortable working with employees, managers, vendors, and cross-functional partners
- Strong service mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and create positive, thoughtful employee experiences
- Comfortable working with basic tools and systems (Microsoft tools, HR platforms, Project Management)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment when handling employee information
- Willingness to work flexible hours when needed to support events, onboarding, and business priorities (including occasional evenings/weekends)
