The North Carolina Football Club, the parent organization of the NC Courage (first-division women’s pro soccer team playing in the NWSL) and North Carolina FC (second-division men’s pro soccer team playing in USL Championship), is seeking a Merchandise Intern that will play a pivotal role in supporting the Club’s merchandise business goals.  

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Assist with stadium match day prep, including ensuring proper inventory levels at each location, proper functioning of POS system, and necessary embellishment of jerseys 
  • Work all match days, including but not limited to managing game day staff, running product, operating POS system, etc.  
  • Manage fulfillment of online orders and internal merchandise requests 
  • Assist in developing and executing strategies to promote and increase merchandise sales 
  • Collaborate with Grassroots Marketing/Goal Getter street team to bring merchandise to community events 
  • Other duties as assigned 

QUALIFICATIONS:
 

  • Must be earning course credit for internship. 
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on the event schedule. 
  • Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. 
  • Must establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, fans, and front office staff. 
  • Must be able to stand for an extended period and lift upwards of 50 pounds  
  • Must be a current college or graduate student getting a degree in sport management or related area of study. 
  • Valid driver's license required.
