ABOUT US:
The North Carolina Women’s Football Club, the parent organization of the North Carolina Courage (first-division women’s pro soccer team playing in the NWSL) is seeking a Manager of Partnership Marketing who will be responsible for planning, facilitating, and executing all aspects of corporate partnership activations for the NC Courage, including renewal, retention, and growth. This role plays a crucial part in enhancing the club’s corporate partnerships revenue while optimizing and enhancing fan engagement experiences during game-day events.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own and manage the day-to-day relationships of assigned corporate partners, serving as the primary point of contact and building trusted, long-term partnerships through consistent communication and strategic guidance.
- Ensure all contractual assets, benefits, and deliverables are fulfilled accurately, on time, and at a high level of quality, while proactively identifying and developing innovative opportunities to expand and enhance partner relationships.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless execution of all partnership activation assets including on-site match day signage, TV broadcast inventory, digital and social media promotions, experiential marketing, and corporate hospitality.
- Actively take the lead in the renewal of your partnership accounts, by proactively managing relationships, understanding shifts in partner strategies, designing proposals based on need/performance, and taking proposals and contracts out early in planning cycle.
- Assist the department at all North Carolina Courage home games through general set-up responsibilities of sponsorship deliverables.
- Support the department in day-to-day tasks and undertake projects/activities as recommended by the Partnership Marketing team and Corporate Sales team.
- Track partnership performance, gather insights and metrics, and deliver clear, compelling recap reports that demonstrate ROI and success against partner goals.
- Stay on top of market trends, community programs, and league-wide initiatives that can help better the visibility of the club and corporate brands in partnership with a dedicated focus to showing return and developing new ways to engage with fans.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- 5+ years of experience in sports, specializing in account management, marketing, promotions, sales, or related field, passion for soccer a plus.
- Proven experience managing day-to-day partner relationships and leading integrated marketing programs.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts and complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build, manage, and grow partner relationships.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including partner-facing and executive-level communications.
- Strong understanding of partnership agreements, rights delivery, and activation execution.
- Strong communication, organizational skills, and professionalism.
- Positive, service-oriented attitude. Superior attention to detail and customer service.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends, as needed.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
