Job Description

The North Carolina Courage, which plays in the National Women’s Soccer League, is seeking a Parking Supervisor. This position will serve to create a successful fan experience for the NC Courage by creating an efficient and organized game day parking experience by managing parking setup, implementation, and staff supervision as well as providing outstanding customer service to patrons throughout matchdays at WakeMed Soccer. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Instruct parking staff on game day duties. 
  • Manages all parking setup and breakdown. 
  • Coordinates adjustments in staff placement throughout ingress and egress. 
  • Coordinates breaks for parking staff. 
  • Ensures that the storage space for items used in the parking lot remains organized when items are put away. 
  • Knows the layout of the facility to direct guests. 
  • Knows weather and emergency protocols. Provides direction in a calm manner to fans in the event of an emergency (ex: lightning delays) 
  • Knows and understands all North Carolina Courage policies and procedures relating to fan interaction and game days. 
  • All employees must practice safe work habits to ensure event production on game days is as efficient and safe as possible.  
 
QUALIFICATIONS 
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on the event schedule. 
  • Must be able to work at least 80% of home games for the NC Courage throughout the 2026 season.  
  • Must be capable of driving a truck with a trailer attached. 
  • High school degree or equivalent required. 
  • Must have a valid driver’s license 
  • Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.  
  • Must establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, fans, and other staff.  
  • Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively. 
  • Provide excellent customer service and interactions with fans to ensure they are maximizing their game day experience enjoyment.

The job requires regularly lifting/pushing up to 50 pounds and occasionally lifting/pushing more than 75 pounds or exerting heavy force, in a wide disparity or environmental conditions. The job involves standing, stooping, bending, lifting, pushing, etc.
