SUMMARY:
The North Carolina Football Club, owner and operator of two affiliated professional soccer teams: the North Carolina Courage (NWSL) and North Carolina FC (USL Championship), is seeking an Equipment Operations Coordinator, who is responsible for various equipment operations with emphasis on those relating to the NC Courage and Town of Cary leased space. The position demands a high level of familiarity with the sport of soccer and the products and equipment necessary to compete in the game. You will maintain a high-degree of professionalism and be able to perform in a fast-paced environment, to gain invaluable, direct hands-on experience with a professional sports team. This position reports directly to the Equipment Manager as part of the Soccer Operations Department.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Assist with the management of the day-to-day operation of home team locker rooms, visiting team locker rooms, and storage rooms.
- Organize and distribute first team issued gear, including all Nike apparel & equipment, as well as on-field products
- Maintain accurate inventory on all apparel and training equipment
- Prioritizing maintaining a stocked locker room aligned with nutritionist guidelines for snacks and beverages for players
- Prepare and produce heat pressed training items and match day items
- Assist with training session set-up and equipment needs during training
- Active partner in creations and maintenance of a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for players
- Maintain professional relationships with vendors, town of Cary personnel, technical staff, etc.
- Manages all team laundry operations, including transporting gear to the laundromat and coordinating with the weekly laundry service to ensure timely cleaning and return of uniforms and equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-3 years’ experience in sports and/or other entertainment events required
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Ability to lift and handle heavy boxes weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to prioritize and manage different projects simultaneously
- Able and willing to work non-traditional hours including evenings & weekends as needed
- Capable of working in a fast-paced and demanding environments
- Exceptional time management skills and ability to prioritize workflow
- Ability to deliver high quality work and execute under pressure and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication combined with a professional demeanor
- Proficient experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
