Administration/General Management: Administrative/Executive Assistant
Kansas City NWSL is seeking an Office Manager to serve in a full time role, assisting with day-to-day operations. As a key member of the operations team, the Office Manager will report to the Chief Operating Officer, assuming a strategic role in the overall management of the administrative duties of the office.  The Officer Manager will have primary day-to-day responsibility for greeting visitors, managing office supplies, and supporting the team with administrative tasks like scheduling meetings.   

  • Oversee and support all administrative duties in the office and ensure that office is operating smoothly
  • Work to resolve various office issues, such as phone, printer and internet
  • Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary
  • Manage company vendors and service contracts
  • Coordinate company payables
  • Perform receptionist duties: greet visitors, and answer and direct phone calls
  • Receive and sort incoming mail and deliveries, and manage outgoing mail
  • Organize, update and implement all office operations and procedures and ensure compliance
  • Plan and manage the execution of all company events
  • Provide other administrative support as necessary, including scheduling group meetings, completing travel arrangements, maintaining calendars, doing research, and creating reports
  • Perform other duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the office

Qualifications and Requirements:  
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, or a related field
  • 2-5 years of work experience in an administrative/office management role
  • Quickbooks experience preferred
  • Must have exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to prioritize
  • Must be a self-starter and driven
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization is essential
  • Must be comfortable in a fast-paced work environment 
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
  • Must be a team player that adapts to change 
  • Ability to be flexible and capable of working on multiple projects at one time
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as required
