Who are we hiring?
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Manager, Training Facility Complex Operations to oversee the operations of our training facility and Riverside stadium. This individual plays a critical role in ensuring the facility operates at the highest standards of appearance, usage and operational efficiency in partnership with our event and venue operations teams. As we grow, we need an individual to continue to drive innovative thinking in proactively identifying opportunities to elevate our overall-experience and maximize intended use of the complex.
What will you do?
- Facility Operations: Ensure the day-to-day operations of the facility including safety, engineering, site services, documentation logs, and general maintenance, are implemented and carried out in a manner consistent to our brand and appearance.
- Overseeing spaces within and outside of the training facility, including the office space, training and performance centers, as well as grass and turf fields.
- Ensuring equipment is organized and taken care of at a high standard.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, assigning responsibilities, clarity on needs, and ensuring project objective achievement.
- This role will need to frequently partner with other departments including conversions, housekeeping, guest services, grounds, and soccer operations.
- Safety and Compliance: Lead emergency preparedness and coordinate regular safety audits, while ensuring venue adheres to all safety, health and accessibility regulations. Oversee the coordination and management of safety providers, including police, fire, and paramedic services as needed.
- Vendor Management: Partner with outside vendor(s) to maintain relationships, coordinate work requests and ensure timely and successful project execution.
- Resource & Budget Management: Plan and manage all project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment. Ensure optimal utilization to minimize waste and maintain cost-efficiency. Monitor expenditures to stay within budgetary constraints.
What do you need to succeed?
- Bachelors degree in Sports Management, Facility Management, Environmental Science or a related field.
- 3 – 5 years of experience in facilities management or property management.
- Proven experience managing and leading a diverse team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Special requirements of the Job:
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, inclusive of weekends, nights (event evenings & overnight operation shifts) and holidays.
- Ability to monitor company communications and respond to time-sensitive matters with senior executives.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and move around the venue for extended periods of time, often during events or facility setup and breakdown.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed for event setup, equipment management, or assisting with operational needs.
- Requires occasional bending, squatting, and reaching overhead to handle various tasks related to facility management, equipment, and event preparation.
- Must be capable of working in physically demanding environments, including navigating stairs, ramps, and elevated platforms during venue conversions.
- Ability to work outdoors continuously for extended periods of time in all weather conditions
