Who are we hiring? The Integrated Marketing Manager reports to the Executive Director of Marketing and contributes to fan acquisition and retention for the KC Current and CPKC Stadium brands with an emphasis on email marketing communications, retail marketing, and digital brand strategy.
What will you do?
- Own the email marketing calendar including strategy, content planning, creative coordination, deployment and performance tracking for the KC Current and CPKC Stadium databases with an emphasis on strategic CRM segmentation. Work closely with key stakeholders across ticket sales, retail, private events and corporate partnerships to drive revenue through email and contribute to business objectives.
- Partner with the Field Marketing, Content, Corporate Partnerships and Retail to develop strategies to drive database growth and retention in the Kansas City market and beyond.
- Work closely with the Retail team to develop the year-long, seasonal, and weekly retail marketing calendar, inclusive of digital and Team Store promotions, photoshoots, and matchday activations. Leverage historical customer and promotion data to inform strategies to drive e-commerce revenue and ensure the retail strategy is tied to the overarching brand narrative.
- Serve as the day-to-day project manager for assigned campaigns, ensuring that assets, approvals, and communications stay on track. Ensure campaigns are rooted in insights and aligned to departmental priorities, business objectives and the KC Current and CPKC Stadium brands.
- Lead the project management of digital, print & signage requests, brief writing, and execution of marketing materials in support of various departments.
- Serve as primary liaison with club printing partners and other local vendors for all internal print needs for the club and stadium.
- Assist the Executive Director of Marketing in the execution of internal paid boosting to support business objectives.
- Serve as Marketing account representative for club partners, as assigned, helping to fulfill marketing assets within their contract.
- Oversee the club’s digital marquee at The University of Kansas Health System Training Center loading and managing all club and partner assets and reporting on proof of performance as requested.
- Perform other related tasks or projects as assigned.
What do you need to succeed?
Required:
- 3-5 years of experience working in a performance marketing role, preferably at a sports organization.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Communications, or other closely related field.
- Experience with strategic marketing communications, email generation, and retail marketing.
- A self-starter who can multitask, reacts well under pressure, and is able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking, meeting facilitation and presentations.
- Outward professionalism in all work environments and when representing the brand in the community.
- Able to work collaboratively with all departments.
Preferred:
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics.
- Knowledge of professional women’s soccer landscape.
- Knowledge of social media and emerging technologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Special requirements of the Job:
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, inclusive of weekends, nights (event evenings & overnight operation shifts) and holidays.
- Ability to monitor company communications and respond to time sensitive matters with senior executives.
